02 / WHY WE PLAY

Every toss.
A good cause.

Veritas brings learning and faith together in a close school community, helping students grow in wisdom, character, and service. This fundraiser is a chance to gather around that work—and have some fun together.

How does double elimination work?

A team stays in contention until its second loss. The undefeated finalist must lose twice, so a second championship game may be needed. Byes are not games or losses; withdrawals and forfeits can affect how many games a team physically plays.

What does the $150 entry include?

Entry for one two-person team in the cornhole tournament. Meals are separate purchases. The winning team receives the championship trophy; there is no cash prize.

Can I come just for the fish fry?

Yes. You can come for the food and company without entering the tournament. Meals will be sold at the event. We’ll post confirmed menu, pricing, and serving hours here.

How many teams can enter?

There are 16 team places, for 32 players. Register now to save your team’s place; payment details will follow separately. Once the field is full, you can join the unpaid waitlist.

What about weather and tournament rules?

Remaining event details are being finalized and will be shared before payment is requested.
